President's Day was held on Saturday 6th September in warm sunshine with various fund raising activities to raise money for the club.

The morning target bowls was won by Derek Parsons with a score of 18 and the Spider, which preceded the afternoon game, was won by Gary Lee.

In the afternoon, a match was held between the President's team and the Captains team and the result was a comprehensive victory for the Captains - no prizes were given but the Captains hold bragging rights for the next 12 months.
