Heavitree Shield 2025

The Heavitree Shield took place on Saturday 30th August, despite a light drizzle for much of the afternoon. Visiting teams from Belmont, Broadclyst, Exonia, Phear Park and St Thomas took part playing in a round robin series against Heavitree teams.

Despite the weather, the green played well and the cream tea at the half way point was much appreciated. The best result from a visiting team was by Broadclyst with a shot difference of +11. The Shield itself was won for the second year running by a team from Heavitree, with a shot difference of +17, comprising Jan Newcombe, Chris Hook, Graham Ewings and skip Derek Parsons.
