September 20th saw the close of the 2025 season, a season with the usual mixed fortunes for its teams, a glorious run of warm sunny weather and a couple of damp weeks to finish.

Around 30 bowlers took part in a final match to mark the close. With nothing at stake, the approach was fairly light hearted although the green was still bowling well right up to the end.

At the finish, trophies were presented to the club completion winners and a birthday cake with candles was presented to Don Pritchard on the occasion of his 90th birthday.
